Refund Policy返金ポリシー
PCT Japanese Language Review Program — terms for reservation fees, tuition refunds, and withdrawals.
1. Double Booking / Overbooking
If a student paid the ₱500 reservation fee but the class was already full at the time of payment, PCT will issue a full refund of ₱500 within 7 working days.
The student will also be given priority enrollment for the next available term at no additional reservation fee.
2. Student Cancellation Before Classes Start
If a student decides to cancel their enrollment before the first day of class:
- ₱500 reservation fee is non-refundable
- No further charges apply since full tuition has not yet been collected
3. Student Withdrawal During A1 (After Classes Start)
Once the full tuition of ₱8,000 is paid, it is non-refundable.
By completing full payment, the student has officially occupied a slot in a class capped at only 20 students. That slot cannot be offered to another student, and PCT has already committed its teachers and resources for that seat.
The only exception is Item 5 (PCT cancels the class) — if PCT cancels, a full refund will still be issued regardless of payment status.
| Payment Status | Refund |
|---|---|
| ₱500 reservation only | ₱500 non-refundable. No further charges. |
| Full ₱8,000 paid | Non-refundable under any circumstance |
| PCT cancels the class | Full refund regardless of payment status |
4. Student Not Selected for A2
This is not a refund situation. The ₱8,000 covers A1 only. Non-selection for A2 does not entitle the student to any refund because:
- A1 was fully delivered as promised
- A2 selection is merit-based and was disclosed at enrollment
- The student received a PCT Certificate of Completion for A1
5. PCT Cancels the Class
If PCT cancels the program before it starts for any reason:
- Full refund of ₱500 reservation fee within 7 working days
- Full refund of any tuition already paid
- Students will be given first priority for the next available term
6. Medical or Emergency Withdrawal
If a student withdraws due to a serious medical condition or family emergency, supported by documentation:
- Case will be reviewed by school administration
- PCT may offer a tuition credit for the next term instead of a cash refund
- Decided on a case-by-case basis
7. Misconduct or Disciplinary Dismissal
If a student is dismissed due to misconduct or violation of school rules:
- No refund of any fees paid
- PCT reserves the right to dismiss students who violate class conduct rules
