How We Teach

Our Method

Teaching Methods were designed and is guided by faculty members at Nihon University, Japan. Created to get you speaking, reading, and exam-ready without wasting your time.

Pillar 01

Face-to-Face Learning

You get stuck on a Japanese sentence. Your teacher walks over, hears the mistake, and has you say it again until it's right. A video can't do that, and online students drop out more often because of it.

Pillar 02

Irodori-Focused Curriculum

Old style classes fill your head with grammar rules but don't train your mouth to speak. We use Irodori, the official Japan Foundation coursebook built around real situations. It's also what the JFT-Basic exam is based on.

Technology Inside the Classroom

Even though classes are face-to-face, we still use technology to support learning: Google Classroom and Google Workspace for materials and communication, the Irodori textbooks as the core curriculum, and a spaced repetition review system to lock in vocabulary and kanji.

Spaced Repetition Reviews

Our review system is more than plain flashcards. It tracks how well you did on each word or character last time, then times your next review for exactly when you're about to forget it. Every learner ends up on their own personal review timeline.
